How to play 2048
- Swipe (or use the arrow keys) to move every tile to one side.
- Two tiles with the same number merge into one with their sum: 2 and 2 make 4, 4 and 4 make 8…
- A new tile appears after every move. The game ends when you can't move.
- Your score is the sum of every tile you've merged. Try to reach 2048 and keep going.

Is there a daily 2048?
Yes. On Mondays the daily challenge is 2048: everyone plays the same game, with a single attempt and its own ranking. Other days it's another game.
Can I challenge a friend?
Yes. When a game ends you can challenge a friend to beat your score.
Do I need to download anything?
No. You play in the browser, on your phone or computer. If you like, you can add it to your home screen like an app.
